Rwanda Environmental Journalists (REJ) is a non-profit national journalism organization with Legal Personality No 922/ RGB/ NGO/ PL/09 /2023 created by and for journalists who report on environmental problems such as deforestation, pollution, climate change, biodiversity, agriculture, disaster risk reduction and natural resources, renewable energy, and hazardous waste to help the public understand environmental science along with economic and political issues about the environment. Our organization has more than 100 journalists from radio, TV, web based as well as print. Our social media accounts especially Twitter are one of the most active regarding environment communication.
